Devil May Cry 5, one of the main releases of spring, will be launched on March 8. So we have collected the most exciting facts about the upcoming project and its system requirements for you.

According to the developers information, you will need least Intel Core i5–4460 (or AMD FX-6300) and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 (or AMD Radeon R7 260X) and 8 GB of RAM to run the game on low settings.

DMC 5 will require about 35 GB of storage and Capcom, developer of the game, strongly recommends playing it on gamepad.

The recommended requirements are much stricter, however quite expectable: Core i7–3770 (or FX-9590), GeForce GTX 1060 (6 GB) (or Radeon RX 480 (8 GB)) and 8 GB of RAM.

However, we are a little bit suspicious — Capcom specified the same amount of RAM for the minimum and recommended requirements, moreover minimum graphics card should have two GB of video memory while recommended graphics card should have at least six. We think that a small amount of skepticism would do no harm — do not rush to update if your PC isn’t powerful enough.

DMC 5 is a direct sequel to DMC 4 and it’s developed under control of Hideaki Itsuno familiar to fans of the series. The fifth part will be based on RE Engine, which has been tested by Capcom on Resident Evil 7.

There will be three heroes Nero, Dante and V. Nero has changed a lot, while V is a new character so let’s talk about both a little more.

Nero uses a double-barreled pistol, sword and Devil Breakers prostheses that can be quickly changed. This can remind something to you and no only to you — DMC 5 is often compared DMC 5 with Sekiro by the fans.

V does not uses blades or firearms. He prefers using his silver cane and summings demons: a bird-like demon, a destructive giant, and a panther that turns into a spiked ball.

The trio will rush to free the Red Grave city from the invading demons. Boss battles will have several phases. Moreover, the game will get quite interesting feature — the quicker you destroy demons the faster becomes the music, which will make the gameplay even more intensive.

Apart from campaign, the players will be able to play training modes The Void, Bloody Palace with the bosses (will be available in April) and cooperative missions with other users.

According to the developers, there are no planned DLC for DMC 5, so no new characters or skins should be expected. Campaign will take about 15 hours, which is not bad for a slasher.

Interestingly, Adi Shankar, the producer of Castlevania is working on DMC project. By the way, he is also working on Assassin’s Creed series.
